General Course Description

Few rules and no regulations

small class sizes with nine or fewer students

well-educated native-fluent tutors

Conversation-style training includes all areas of language use:  reading, writing, grammar, idioms, speaking, and listening. 

We teach toward fluency and communication. 

Our Classes are Casual, fast and fun.

Our Rules:

Sign up for a minimum of 20 hours.

We plan our international language training with busy Americans in mind, but you must schedule any hiatus with the Administrative office each time you sign up for an additional five weeks.  Hiatus may not be more than 3 weeks for continued group discount rate.  We rarely raise our prices on continuing students, but if you take a break for three weeks or longer without paying for five weeks, you may be charged our current rates.

Dive-In   

Our Most Popular for Busy Americans

Classes meet two hours per week for 10 weeks per session.  $17.50 per hour when you enroll for 20 hours.  Pay every 5 weeks.  You can take a planned hiatus by telling the administration which week you can't be here out of every five weeks you sign up for, so you don’t pay for lessons you can’t take.  We book the tutor, and you learn your language.

Private Plunge

Our Second-most Popular course

One-on-one with private tutor.  Choose your day/hour combination – minimum two hours per session.  $45 per hour or purchase a 20-hour package for a special rate of $35.00 per hour when you complete all hours within ten weeks; $40 per hour for a 20-hour package to complete in 11 to 27 weeks.  Students may move classes with 42-hour notice to the Administrative office.   

Sponge Team

For People Who Need to Learn and Language and Travel, such as our wonderful Mongolian Course

Classes meet twice a week for two hours at a time.  Only $15.75 per hour when you enroll for 10 weeks.  Pay 5 weeks at a time and take a hiatus when you need to.*

Come N Go

Even if you aren't in San Diego all the time, you are welcome to participate in our language training.

Too busy to enroll?  Then don’t!  WordWide allows Beginner Plus and above students to Come N Go.  Sign up for 20 hours for any of our on-going classes -- call us up, make sure the class is at a time that is convenient to you, and drop in for only $25.00 per hour in an on-going class.  You can take up to a full year to finish all of your lessons.  Can be exchanged at any time for consistent group classes or private plunge at current 20-hour rates.

WordWide Clubs

Coffee shops too noisy to speak French?  Create your own club and meet at WordWide!  German, Spanish, French or whatever language you want to study together.  Rent a classroom for two to nine students at WordWide Language Center.  $17.50 for a minimum of two hours each for the classroom without a tutor.

Mommy or Daddy and Me

1 parent and 1 child.  $25.00 per hour.  One hour per week at a time we can piggy-back to a Dive-in, so your kids and you can learn another language together! 

WordWide Business English Real

Learn how to communicate in daily business with WordWide’s unique and exciting Business English Real.  19 hours per week. 10 we eks per level. Just $1950.00 per 190-hour Level.  Minimum six students required for task-specific group work.  This is practical training in business using two books, Cambridge's Company to Company and Biz Speak, a book of business slang and how to use and understand it.

Save even more by coming to WordWide with a friend or family member:  Only $15.00 per hour for each of you.  That saves pairs $10.00 per 2-hour class session!
