Our HomeStays are close to the school and cost from $700 to $750 per month. We're located in Ocean Beach, because this is a very inexpensive beach town in which to live and play. Our HomeStays include two meals a day, a private room (may be seasonal - please order ahead of time), laundry and access to TV and Internet. There are all kinds of American families, and we guarantee that you will love your HomeStay family.
Apartments - Weekly and Monthly
WordWide has teamed up with the best partnerships for great places to stay in and around San Diego. We offer apartment assistance and know what is a good deal and what is not a good deal. The life of luxury at the beach includes a lot of small bungalows. Beach bungalows were built as vacation homes in the 1920s and 30s. Many times, these cottages are very small, but they are part of beach living. My home is a Sear's Craftsman ordered out of a catalog and built in 1924. It's beautiful, has no dishwasher, no heater, and is so small, I have a dinning room set up outside -- why not? It's at the beach!
One of our partnerships is Newport Place, a real estate group that has three terrific apartment buildings where you can stay. They are all within walking distance to the Downtown or Old Town Trolley stations, and then just 1/2 hour away from WordWide by bus. You're in between downtown and Ocean Beach at Newport Place in Old Town.
All of their properties are clean and have everything you need to live very nicely while in San Diego and for a very low cost. The house pictured to the left is on Golden Hill -- with a stunning view of downtown San Diego, blocks away from downtown nightlife, the ball park and the trolley station. Bed and Breakfast and Other Short Stays
For shorter stays, we recommend the Elsbree House, Ocean Beach's bed and breakfast located near the pier, or the beach area hostels. We send friends and family to stay at the Elsbree House, and you'll love it for a week or two.
